WOLFF NAMED FIRST RECIPIENT OF BRENT TOMS BASEBALL LEGACY AWARD
Earlier this year, The Kutcher Foundation in collaboration with the Toms’ Family announced the launch of The Brent Toms Legacy Project. One initiative in this project was to set up a scholarship in Brent’s name and award it to a Senior on the Evangelical Christian School (ECS) baseball team where he was an assistant coach.
The Kutcher Foundation is proud to announce that Dylan Wolff has been named the first recipient of The Brent Toms Baseball Legacy Award.
Wolff met Coach Toms when he was in 4th grade as a bat boy for the ECS junior varsity baseball team. He quickly learned Toms had a strong passion for baseball and that made a big impact on him.
“This award is such an honor,” says Wolff. “As I further my baseball career, I will work hard to pass on the values for the game as well as my personal life that Coach Toms instilled in every player he coached.”
Wolff is undecided on where he will attend school, but will receive a $1,000 scholarship for his education.
