Joshua passed away in a tragic car accident on his way to school at the young age of 15 on March 2, 2017.
This foundation will offer any high school Senior, male or female, with financial need, the opportunity to receive a scholarship towards their college. The only stipulation is that you live in Cecil or Harford County, Maryland. We are a 5013c non-profit organization under the Kutcher Foundation umbrella.
Over the last five years, I have been blessed with running the Joshua Hamer Memorial Scholarship fund and watching the impact it has made on 12 seniors to attend college and 22 students to attend John Carroll. I hope to continue to change lives one student at a time.

Joshua Evan Hamer was born on April 2nd, 2001 in Denton, Texas. Joshua was the youngest child of four brothers. At a very young age, Joshua fell in love with all sports, but baseball was his favorite. He was a gifted student who excelled in school. Joshua was always smiling. He loved life and was a friend to everyone he met. As Joshua got older, he worked very hard to play on travel baseball teams and attend a private high school.
On March 2, 2017, Joshua was on his way to school when he was tragically killed in a car accident. Josh was just 15 years old. We hope to honor him through this foundation.
